McDavid unless hes a nice guy and takes like 7-8mil/per will most likley be about 9-11mill/per and Leon can easily ask 6-8mill/per so. Oilers will have to be aware they dont wanna pull a Chi and have all there cap in 2 players, they still need a couple key pieces and even when Eberle and Pouliot are gone ur gonna need to reconstruct your top 6 which isnt cheap. There gonna be right up against the cap wall but even if they dont have the deepest team or best dcore they have McDavid so they will win a cup or two before McJesus is 30

Trade eberle and change pullajarvi into a good winger. He was fourth overall in the first round just like draistle. If we train him he can be good,

I got nothing from this. Almost like he should have a charismatic assistant gm alongside him, whom he share all the information with, and skip these press conferences

If players really wanted to win so badly, they wouldn't ask for insane contracts like $6-7 + mil a year. If all the players on the team collectively and consciously took a wage cut the team could sign other very good players because their cap space would be immense and then you can more or less build a super team of guys that are in it for the sport and not the money. I realize this will never happen though 🙁
